Introducing the GMC Difference

By Jeff Goldshine, CEO/Principal ,Goldshine Management Consulting

At Goldshine Management Consulting, we believe better decisions come from bringing two things together: real-world operating experience and rigorous analysis.

That is the perspective Adam Burdick and I bring to our work. I have spent my career operating properties, leading organizations, and being accountable for results. Adam brings a rigorous analytical approach—digging deeply into the data, challenging assumptions, and asking whether the numbers are telling the whole story. Together, we look at where the data and the day-to-day realities of operating properties meet—and where they sometimes do not.

Sophisticated analysis has often been most accessible to the industry’s largest owners, with the resources and teams to support it. We want to make that kind of thinking more accessible and more practical for small and middle-market owners as well—not by making it more complicated, but by making it useful. The goal is to take the information owners already have, ask better questions about it, and turn it into decisions they can act on.

That is what you can expect from us. We will look closely at the issues affecting property performance. We will challenge conventional thinking when economics and experience tell a different story. And we will focus not simply on what the numbers say, but on what they mean, what may be getting missed, and what owners can do about it.

Our first article starts with a simple example: a renewal pricing system does exactly what it was designed to do—and the owner still loses money.

That is exactly the kind of question we intend to keep asking.

If you would like to talk about what the numbers may be telling you—or what they may be missing—we would welcome the conversation. Contact us to schedule a complimentary introductory discussion.
